About The Role

Thinking about a career in Project Management? We could have the start you are looking for. NCC is has an opportunity for you to come and join us as a Project Management Degree Apprentice. This is the perfect place to start your Project Management career. 

Develop real-world experience alongside academic learning starting in September 2025.

How the apprenticeship works…

  • The course begins in September 2025 and runs for 4 years; this includes your end point assessment.
  • You’ll study online with a virtual release day every Wednesday — this day stays the same throughout the course.
  • Teaching takes place over 32 weeks (approx.) each academic year, we strongly recommend you continue to protect 1 day per week for learning during non-teaching weeks. This helps ensure you have enough time to complete projects and assessments alongside your job.
  • It will start with a 2-day in-person induction at our training provider Weston College’s Weston-Super-Mare campus. This is a great opportunity to meet your lecturers, assessor, support team, and fellow apprentices.
 What qualifications you can expect to gain on successful completion
  • BSc (Hons) Project Management– A full honours degree awarded upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
  • Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship (APM)– This is included within the degree apprenticeship. Learners will achieve the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ), a nationally recognised and respected industry certification.
  • Student Membership to the Association for Project Management (APM)– Apprentices gain student membership during the course, which supports professional development, access to resources, and industry networking.

Eligibility Criteria

  • We would expect you to have achieved appropriate level 3 qualifications on entry e.g. 3 GCE “A” Levels at Grades A to C, or a vocational equivalent.
  • Apprentices are also expected to have typically achieved Maths and English at Level 2 prior to starting the apprenticeship.
