About The Role

We are looking for an HR Assistant to take on a varied role at the National Composites Centre. You'll join a small, friendly HR team who are responsible for delivering the people strategy of the NCC and ensuring that our staff get the very best from their HR service.

You'll be the key point of contact for all HR and recruitment admin, ensuring that records are up to date, accurate, and compliant. When you're not thinking on your feet managing admin tasks and our systems, you'll be supporting recruitment activities from advertising through to onboarding.

But there's more to the role than just admin. Want the chance to support a wide range of HR projects? From employee attraction and onboarding, to wellbeing, to continuous improvement, whatever you want to get involved in we would be happy to accommodate.

  • Attitude is everything. You are an organized, motivated team-player, and you know what a difference a good HR function makes to any business.
  • You're good with details and confident handling sensitive information.
  • We're not asking for prior HR or recruitment experience (that would be a bonus), but you're keen to learn and develop within an HR context. And with the learning and development opportunities on offer at NCC, this role could kick-start your career.
