We are looking for Manufacturing Engineers that lead by example and implement best practice in all aspects of manufacturing.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Creating and evaluating quality control process and implementing continuous improvement & manufacturing governance
- Analysing and reporting on manufacturing processes, including cycle time, reliability, repeatability, accuracy and downtime
- Lean Six Sigma Qualifications and/ or experience will be a bonus along with experience of root cause analysis activities
- Delivering and leading research projects from a manufacturing perspective

Process Engineering: You understand the parameters of a manufacturing process, can assess risk, scrutinise, and improve processes with the bigger picture in mind. You consistently deliver at cost, in time and meet quality expectations. You are customer focused and can follow a product or project through from creation to delivery whilst focusing on customer needs and meeting and managing requirements.
Innovation: You can apply innovative approaches to evaluate and develop technical solutions to solve engineering challenges, whilst working comfortably with ambiguity across multiple engineering sectors and composite manufacturing processes. You can implement new processes, procedures, and methods to manufacture new components to time, cost and quality requirements.
Data: We are looking for Data Driven Manufacturing Engineers with experience of test plans and process trends. As the NCC makes in-roads into digital engineering, any understanding of how manufacturing data can be optimised and exploited would be beneficial.
