About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a technician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career as a Technician at NCC.

We have two roles available. 
 
 Working within the workshop, this is what you'll be doing
 

· Setting up and operating machines and equipment according to standard procedures with supervision.

· General hand skills working with materials and resins under supervision.

· Ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

· Maintaining equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance schedule.

· Learn and assist with resin infusion and prepreg techniques with composite materials.

· Completing a range of engineering processes in line with DIS’s in conjunction with process specifications.

As a competent Technician at NCC you will be expected to act with minimum supervision and oversee the work of Apprentices, Associate Technicians or Trainees.

In order to do this, you'll need to be able to; follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean and organised work environment, collaborate with technicians, engineers and project managers to support ongoing projects and development work.

So, what are we looking for

· Good attention to detail and accuracy when carrying out tasks.

· Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

· Proficient in basic maths and measurement techniques.

· Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

· Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic computer skills.

· Problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

· Safe and responsible working manner in manufacturing areas.

· Clear evidence of understanding hand and pneumatic tools.
