About The Role

At the National Composites Centre we're building the future of composites, so when industry wants to advance they come to us. And when they come to us, you're there to make things happen. 

You’ll join our Manufacturing capability group working to deliver manufacturing engineering support and technical direction on exciting projects across a range of industries. You'll support the development of novel technology processes and create demonstrators of the NCC’s manufacturing capability in line with customer needs, supporting the future of innovation in composites on behalf of customers, and the NCC.

Your hands-on experience in composite manufacturing processes, ability to produce high quality technical documentation and knowledge of product lifecycles will provide a foundation for a range of new responsibilities, from technical excellence to customer focus.

So what are we looking for?

  • 2 of more years of hands-on infusion/RTM experience from within the Aerospace, Renewals, Automotive or Marine industry
  • Experience of leading and managing projects, producing manufacturing plans, PFMEA’s and risk management
  • An analytical approach to your work and the ability to proactively think outside of the box to solve complex manufacturing problems
  • Sound theoretical knowledge of composite materials and a range of manufacturing processes
