About The Role

DOE & Benefits

The NCC is building the future for composites. Over the past few years, we’ve refocused our strategic approach toward delivering innovation to help deliver a Net-Zero economy, and now we’re expanding our influence across the Energy sector. We’ve had some early success in this area, but we need you to take it to the next level.

As Composites Sector Engineer, you’ll take a lead role in developing the NCC’s Energy Structures and Infrastructure offering, identify opportunities and deliver innovative technical projects. You’ll be the key point of contact for customers on projects, providing technical and strategic direction to engineering work alongside the PM team and wider NCC capability groups.

So what are we looking for?

  • You’ll have expert knowledge of composites and materials for large-scale, heavily-loaded structures, with a clear understanding of industrialisation of relevant technologies
  • You have good knowledge of subsea structures, offshore structures, industrial plant and equipment, and understanding of industry regulations, and the relevant design factors within energy systems
  • You’re a strong leader, able to communicate with internal stakeholders, customers, and engineers on all aspects of a project

In return, this is an exciting chance to be a vital part of something new, supporting some fantastic customers with the adoption of next-generation technological solutions. And with the wealth sector opportunities, who knows where it will take you?
