The National Composites Centre is at the forefront of the composites revolution. But it's not just world-leading R&D solutions that we offer.

Since 2019, our Skills and Workforce Development team have been providing a suite of high-quality courses to a variety of customers that want to learn more about composites. Our employees also rate internal staff development opportunities as one of the key benefits of working at the NCC. This is where you come in.

Working independently and as part of our team, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive and professional learning and development service to the NCC. You’ll act as the first point of contact to accurately assess training requests, identify learning needs, and recommend appropriate development solutions to meet the needs of both individuals and the business. You will develop and manage high quality and engaging blended learning solutions which are accessible and engaging for staff and stakeholders. You’ll also manage relationships with external training providers (e.g. for technical training).

We are looking for significant experience within a learning and development role, ideally you’ll be CIPD qualified or equivalent. You are a dynamic individual with a flair for developing innovative learning solutions, as well as being a strong communicator who is adept at engaging with various audiences. You will be confident using different systems and tools to enhance the experience for each audience.

Reporting to the Head of Skills and Workforce Development, the role will be instrumental in shaping our learning culture to support career development and enhance the performance of our talented workforce.
