£47,700 - £59,733 DOE & Benefits
Now in our tenth year, the NCC is undergoing an exciting growth spurt, and not just in composites. In the short time that’s passed since we won our first major digital programme, we’ve created a new Business Unit focussing solely on developing digital technologies into manufacturing applications, and we need engineers to support the wide variety of work that falls out of NCC Digital.

The growth is continuing, and this is where you come in.

You’ll lead the NCC’s strategy for Manufacturing Intelligence, supporting the adoption of innovative industrial technologies in the digital field. You’re the owner of all tools and techniques relating to digitally-enabled machines and assets, and it’s a growing area: we’re building digital twinning closed-loop manufacture , design from manufacturing and asset monitoring capability to enhance factory, manufacturing and assurance operations across NCC.

This is your opportunity to join a rapidly growing business as a subject-matter expert. You’ll be the focal point for Manufacturing Intelligence at NCC, building novel solutions in a cutting-edge environment, with world-leading significance. You’ll engage with external customers, developing test beds and training scenarios to demonstrate capability, secure work, and drive transformation in UK manufacturing.

So what are we looking for?
  • You’ll have extensive experience in manufacturing, ideally with Lean/Six Sigma within complex manufacturing environments
  • You’ll have the proven ability to establish a technical strategy for Manufacturing Intelligence at NCC, with demonstrable knowledge of working with digitally-enabled manufacturing capability
  • While owning a niche, you’re a team player, and understand the importance of embedding your technical know-how into a community of technical leaders – you’ll synthesise technical solutions with our current processes, and support the development of the NCC’s future
Why the NCC?
