The National Composites Centre is at the forefront of the digital revolution in manufacturing.
We've embarked on a new initiative to evolve and deploy powerful digital engineering technologies across industry. We're breaking new ground in advanced engineering to develop sustainable products and solutions, more quickly and at less cost.
This isn't just about composites, but about advanced engineering across the UK, and beyond. We're providing a focal point for industry, researchers, educators and technology providers to co-create new tools, techniques and methods, transforming advanced engineering in the UK. Any ground-breaking new initiative needs inspiring minds to make it happen. We're looking for an Advanced Technology Programme Manager to oversee the digital project portfolio.
You’ll be accountable for the successful delivery of a diverse strategic portfolio of technical engineering within the digital space. Working directly with customers and programme delivery teams, you’ll ensure the quality of the digital portfolio, and work to secure future work at project end. And with a diverse and broad resource pool to support you, you’ll be poised to guarantee the technical excellence of the programme’s output.
So what are we looking for?
You’re a thought-leader within engineering, with a proven record of delivering high-value technical programmes of work to customers. You have a clear vision for what ‘good’ looks like in the management of a critical portfolio, and a passion to deliver innovation in digital. And with the potential for growth within the sector, you’ll bring some bright ideas for making our strategy fit the needs of your customers, present and future.
So why NCC?
  • We’re leading innovation on a global level. The NCC is accelerating cutting-edge technologies worldwide, and this is your opportunity to take hold of a novel challenge.
  • We’re a non-profit employer – you’ll see your work have a positive impact on the UK economy, far and near technology innovators, and the future state of technology for the greater good (Construction is just one of the fresh sectors we’re pushing toward!)
  • The timing is right. We’re on the precipice of something big, and this is your opportunity to make your mark on the future of NCC, and composites in general, making this a career-defining role.
If you're ready to realise your legacy within the future of advanced engineering, this is the opportunity that will make your career.
