You love building relationships, opening doors and linking businesses with groundbreaking technology. You can grasp the changing needs of your market and know how to pitch complex solutions to industry.
But you also know that sales and business development aren't the same thing. There's a difference between selling things and taking your customer on a journey, and you're a master of the consultative approach. 
Since opening our doors in 2011, we've gone from strength to strength, bringing cutting edge composite technologies to some amazing customers and securing a bright future for composites manufacturing in the UK and worldwide. Aerospace has always been our bread and butter, but there's always more work to win and a bigger difference to make. This is where you come in.
You'll join the Aerospace & Defence business unit, building bridges in our biggest market and breaking new ground in the defence sector. You'll represent the NCC across the country, working closely with customers to understand their needs, and liaising with our expert engineers to understand how we can solve the engineering problems of tomorrow.
So what are we looking for?
Some things can't be taught. You're a proactive self-starter with the ability to see the bigger picture, and know how to take your customer on a journey. Beyond great communication and a knack for consultative selling, you have a good grasp of engineering and how problems are solved. You don't need to be a composite expert, we can teach that, but you can hold your own when talking shop with our engineering community. If you have experience working in the defence sector, especially in land systems, that would be ideal!
