About The Role

Machine Shop Technician
£25,989 - £40,214 DOE & Benefits

Working with machines shouldn’t make you live your work life like one. And who said that your work has to be repetitive? Maybe it’s time to see things from another angle.

We’re looking for an experienced machine operator to join our bustling R&D centre. If you’re tired of mass production, creating thousands of the same part, this is a good step for your career.

At NCC, you'll provide detailed input into the development of processes for critical parts on the shop floor. Our customers have complex requirements (this is innovate R&D after all), and you’re there to make it happen. This is a reactive role, but you'll factor in time and quality in everything you do.

We need an experienced manufacturing technician. You're a confident operator of waterjet cutting machinery (ideally Flow), lathes, mills, and can operate and program CNC 3 and 5 axis capability. You don't need to be a composites expert, we can teach that! Critically though, you understand the thought processes that go into creating a part according to customer specs and can adapt to complex requirements.

You'll find your home in the machine shop of a world-leading manufacturing R&D facility. We're creating a bright future for composites, and we need your help to keep the wheels in motion.

Apply now.
