As a Research Engineer at the NCC, your role isvaried and engaging. When you’re not working on ground-breaking engineeringprojects, you're close to key customers and partnering with industry experts.

At the NCC, we take novel ideas and make them a reality. You’llcollaborate with a variety of industry partners to deliver the future ofcomposites manufacturing. We’re looking for composites processingknowledge, with a focus on Automated Processing – ideally Automated FibrePlacement (AFP) and Automated Tape Laying (ATL). We reward attitude here, and adesire to develop within the role is a key to success.

If you have experience or a keen understanding of Informatics and Data Analytics, that's a bonus too. 

Main activities will include:

  • Explore innovative approaches to find technical solutions to a variety of engineering challenges, thinking of new ways of achieving results
  • Review and appraise technical documents, using you technical expertise to develop a strategy for a customer’s requirement
  • Build co-operative working opportunities internally and externally. Foster an environment that values knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration
  • Work to strengthen customer relationships by providing excellent communications both internally and externally
