Research Engineer – Computer Aided Manufacture

We’re looking for a digitally-focused manufacturing engineer to join our team. Perhaps you’re an experienced AFP programmer. Or maybe you’re working in a manufacturing automation role? Either way, you have a keen interest in applying digital technology to manufacturing processes to deliver real-world solutions to industry.

We’re excited about our new Pilot Line capability. This will enable us to make large components using multiple deposition methods for some of the biggest names in aerospace, and beyond. You’ll work alongside our Automation and Computer Aided Manufacturing teams to programme the Pilot Line for some of our most vital customer projects. This is a brand new acquisition for us, and this work will become your legacy at the NCC, making this a great step in your career.

So what do we need? You’ll have experience in CATIA and DELMIA V5/V6 and will have developed or adapted a programming process for new equipment in a previous role. A good grasp of C# would be advantageous. Composites experience isn’t vital as we can teach you that if needed.
