About The Role

We are seeking a Research Engineer who is eager to dive into the world of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of composite materials. You’ll be involved in cutting-edge research and development projects, gaining hands-on experience with the latest NDT techniques, and contributing to innovative advancements in industries. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to earn industry-recognized qualifications and work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, working closely with experienced engineers, scientists, and key industry partners to tackle real-world challenges. Your role will include analyzing testing data, exploring material properties, and ensuring the structural integrity of critical components. You’ll assist in the development and application of non-destructive testing methods for composite materials and structures, supporting key research and industrial projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your skills while making a tangible impact on exciting projects that shape the future of composites technology.

  • Basic knowledge of composite materials and a willingness to learn NDT techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic, or thermographic testing.
  • Experience in materials testing, non-destructive evaluation, or composites research through academic projects or internships.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to interpret complex data using tools like MATLAB or Python.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings clearly.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to obtaining NDT qualifications.

What do we offer in return?
